Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
- Working on the audit of clients
- Evidence gathering
- Charity work, we went to help out on a 'one firm, one internship' day to help a charity. We also aided a social enterprise in helping their strategic direction & goals.
- Networking with other interns / trainees, as well as managers and directors.
- Presentations with other interns
- Visiting client sites to gain exposure.
- Enjoying company culture and values

- Learnt new information regarding how audits are put together & how information is collected from the clients.
- Learnt about the company culture and values.
-Developed by knowledge of financial information and audit in general.
- Doing a finance degree myself, it was good to see how I could use this degree in practise.
- Developed my skills in creating presentations and presenting them to leadership teams.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was also very inclusive, accepting and allowed people to get to know each other better whilst working which was nice, especially when getting to know leadership teams.
