Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I am a 360 recruitment consultant, meaning that I manage both the client and candidate side of things.
8:30am - check emails
9:am - morning meeting
9:30am - 12pm - Business development calls
12-1pm - lunch break
2-4pm - follow up business development and candidate interviews
4:30pm - end of day meeting
5-5:30pm - finish emails / admin

Yes,I was given a lot of responsibility but also overseen by my manager closely

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have developed my negotiation, communication and resilience.
This is a sales job so you have to deal with a lot of variables that are often outside your control. Thus, I feel as though I have thoroughly developed my resilience and confidence throughout the process

I felt that I was well supported throughout the process by both my colleagues and my manager.
Sometimes I felt like I was given a bit too much responsibility which made me feel like I was not as supported

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I would say I enjoyed it overall. There have been days where things were stressful and I have worked overtime however, I felt as though overall I did well on my desk and hit all of my targets
