Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Taking part in team meeting, writing reports, sitting in on a variety of meeting within the department, writing up a customer information pack and having talks with a variety of people within the bank.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given desk projects which will be used by the teams after I leave and given to clients, both new and existing. I have also written section of reports used internally and sat in on meetings with VPs and directors.

I have developed my report writing skills, independent thinking, communication and learnt how to work in a corporate environment. I have also learnt about lots of different sectors within the bank and the breath of clients we serve.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. All the people I booked meeting with were very helpful and gave a great insight into the company and encouraged me to be curious and ask questions.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have really enjoyed my placement and learnt so much in such a short amount of time. I have been really involved on so many different projects and been given the opportunity to sit in on so many meetings, both internally and with clients.
