Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We completed our research tasks, and learned more about the practice areas that we sat in. This included workshops, such as on an M&A case study as well as tasks set by our supervisors. We also had the opportunity to have coffee chats with team members.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was great. It has been really informative and I really appreciate the fact that the firm spent time covering different types of career progression tracks, whether at the firm, within the profession, or otherwise.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I had a wonderful time at Latham and I have learned a lot, not only about the firm and its practice areas, but also about working in the profession more widely. Whether that's related to the different types of people that you can come across in the profession, or the way progression works in the profession.
