Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We got insight into the firm’s different practice areas like competition, project finance, corporate, litigation and structured finance. We also learnt about the firm’s structure, committees, pro bono work and diversity and inclusion. We completed a research task in each seat and also an interview.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great to understand more about the business and the different roles available, especially in different committees and different roles.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was extremely helpful and open door. Everyone was very willing to talk to us and tell us more about their work and position at the firm. The firm is also very friendly and collaborative as people constantly work together. The culture is also very inclusive and diverse.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed it since we got a good insight into the different practice areas, the firm’s pro bono and diversity and inclusion work and also the people at the firm. There was a good mixture and enough time to have coffee chats with different people across the firm.

Have good motivations behind your reason of pursuing a career in commercial law and get as much experience within the field as possible. Have a collaborative mindset and be willing and keen to explore new opportunities and take responsibility over your career at an early stage
