Brand Engagement Intern Review

I played an important role in providing support to the Community Engagement team through assisting in the planning and execution of programs designed to increase community awareness and providing administrative and analytic support.

During my placement, I was given a lot of responsibility as I took lead on many new product launch campaigns by working along side our creative agency to create creative mailers for creators . I also had to create presentation highlighting MIM results which usually is done my managerial roles. Overall, at no point did I feel like an Intern as I was constantly challenged to work harder.

Upskilled in organizing and overseeing events, briefing paid influencers and media, collaborating with journalists to get products covered in print and TV, and managing socialmedia accounts. It has developed my innovation and creative skills.

I was blessed to have a lovely team who helped me throughout my journey. They ensured that I was aware of everything. I was able to openly speak to them and ask any questions or queries I had.

Everyone was so approachable and helpful from beginning to end. I felt motivated and happy in my work environment at all times, with endless support from my team and the wider division.

To a large extent, I have had a great year as it has been the most valuable year of my life so far. I have learnt so many valuable skills that will help me in my career life and my personal life.
