Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was given the responsibility of managing one of the clients my team looked after. I was also involved in daily tasks for three others. This involved tasks like welcome emails, right to work checks, telephone interviews, video interview marking and rejecting candidates fron the process. There were a wide variety of tasks involved in each campaign and the number of campaigns meant each day was interesting.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was placed in charge of completing the day to day task of two campaigns. There was a lot of trust given by my manager for me to complete the work to a good enough standard.

Many skills of mine have improved by leaps since the beginning of placement. Time management, organisation, communciation and team work are all really crucial skills that you get to work on.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

My line manager was always available to talk me through anything I needed help with. There was also training sessions for when there was a new task to complete that we hadn't done before like video interviews.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The entire office was filled with some of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. Genuinely, a great vibe throughout the company on all levels. My team was also incredible and full of people I would love to work with again.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

For me, this was a perfect year. I enjoyed the role and getting to know more about recruitment and i had the best time working with everyone and taking part in the events that the company held.
