Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

I gained an insight into the different divisions in the company. My spring insight programme route focussed on Global Transaction Services and Global Risk. On most days, we listened to presentations from staff across the company. However, we did have a networking event and had the opportunity to complete IBD, Risk and Global Markets simulations provided by amplifyme.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Overall, the spring insight programme was very useful and allowed me to gain a clear insight into the roles on offer at Bank of America. Furthermore, I managed to understand, in depth, the sub divisions within each division at BoA.

Yes, I managed to improve my networking skills and, as a result of the Risk simulation, managed to build upon my excel knowledge.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was very good, I felt welcomed and did not feel intimidated at any point. I was given the opportunity to talk to a good number of staff and ask many questions. All of the staff working at the company had a positive view of BoA.
