Collateral management activities with communications between abrdn and our third parties, brokers and traders. Setting up funds to facilitate trading. Ensuring outsourced activities to delivered to the required standard through continuous monitoring.

Lot of support received throughout internship team placement - in form of managers and team member colleagues on a wide variety of topics from subject specific queries to general information about the company itself

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Incredibly welcoming and safe environment which gives way to increased confidence and learning abilities which can be seen throughout the entire company and all departments. Huge focus, investment and interest within early careers, from the internship programme to trainee programme to graduate programme and lots of retention seen throughout these paths.

What advice would you give to others applying to abrdn
for those who are thinking of joining an intern programme, my advice would be to take all the opportunities there are and take time to speak to all teams and departments across the organisation to gain more knowledge and make connections
