Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Two-day induction followed by a week and a half in a seat.
Day-to-day typically consists of legal research work delegated by supervisor or trainee buddy. Other tasks included drafting letter to client, reviewing standstill agreement

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Learning more about the business and the pipeline from vacation scheme student to associate was fascinating, in that it was good to hear how much emphasis is placed on your career development and how much support is provided.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes: drafting a client letter definitely provided me with a new skill as I had never done this before and I better honed my skill in using legal jargon. Legal research also refined my skills in sifting through information and identifying relevant facts, and compiling research notes more accurately.
