Vacations scheme student Review

Working within team department and completing daily tasks set by the supervisors assigned to me. Throughout the two weeks, ive recieved substantial support from my trainee buddy but also other members of my team. My daily tasks included reviewing documents and creating an exhibit, making an index for an final charging order, and reviewing and presenting an update on case law/

understanding the business model was more complex than I previously thought. Clyde has a focus on insurance firms and would represent those firms to ensure against claims. As per the potential roles available, Im aware that the law firms is expanding and therefore there is a great potential for potential roles

I have developed new skills of asking for help when Its required, but also developuing upon my previous skills of communication by infirming members of my team about my daily schedule.

The culture of the firm was second to none. Honestly enjoyed my time here and everyone has been super supportive and friendly. There has not been any instances where some has been questionable from any members of my team or other people that I interacted with.

I enjoyed the insight for numerous reasons but there are two main reasons that stuck out to me. Firstly, being able to work on actual work allowed me to gain a broader prospective of the type of clients that Clyde work for. Having the opportunity to work on real cases allowed me to appreciate the work I was doing, as if I was part of something larger. Secondly, I enjoyed the vacation scheme because the I learned allow about the firms culture - being able to integrate myself into the firm relatively easy, coming from an ethnic background, was something that I really appreciate. Clyde really do celebrate difference.
