About the Team

The Energy, Transition & Sustainability (ET&S) Business within Amey Consulting team are dynamic and forward thinking, dedicated in driving the shift towards a greener future. Specialising in providing comprehensive solutions for our clients that combine cutting-edge technology with innovative strategies to optimise energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints. Our commitment ensures that every project we undertake contributes meaningfully to the global effort against climate change.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support Senior Architects in the delivery of Architectural design packages through various RIBA Stages.
  • Prepare design models to aid clients and stakeholders.
  • Carry out research in relation to legislation, compliance and manufacturers information.
  • Help in the preparation of specification for building projects.
  • Assist in the design and implementation sustainable, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
  • Works collaborative across multiple disciples to provide a co-ordinated solution.
  • Be part of collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver impactful solutions that align with global sustainability goals.

We want to hear from you if you have

  • A degree (minimum 2:1) in Architecture or any other relevant degree as part of the RIBA Part 1 programme.
  • Either completed or working towards completing a degree or masters in Architecture as part of the RIBA Part 2 programme.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Ability to write formal written reports to a high standard together with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification via a formal pathway
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in an open, inclusive and innovative manner
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to deadlines from time to time.
  • Willingness to travel
