Job Description

Business and Technology Analyst Higher Apprenticeship

Kick‑start your tech career in the Global Information Services (GIS) team — the people who keep our technology, governance, and customer solutions running smoothly.

You’ll be right at the heart of cloud contact centre technology, helping shape how customers use Genesys Cloud, one of the most innovative platforms in the industry.

In this role, you’ll help shape how our customers design and use their Genesys Cloud services, gaining hands-on experience while learning from industry experts. You’ll support senior consultants during customer workshops, contribute to solution design discussions, and help ensure our recommendations follow best practice and align with customer goals. You’ll see how ideas are translated into real solutions before they’re passed to our build teams for implementation.

You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll join a friendly apprentice cohort, get real support from experienced teammates, and have a mentor who’s always in your corner. We celebrate different perspectives, value your ideas, and want you to feel confident bringing your whole self to work. If you’re curious, collaborative, and excited about building a future in tech — you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

You’ll spend 80% of your time gaining hands‑on experience and 20% working toward your Level 4 qualification.

Across the programme, you’ll rotate through three teams to explore different work styles, discover your strengths, and build real skills for a cloud technology‑ career.

Projects – Shape Customer Experiences

  • Join planning sessions and help design customer journeys
  • Support consultants as ideas become clear, practical solutions
  • See how a project moves from first conversation to final delivery

Technical – Bring New Ideas to Life

  • Learn how new features and services are built from the ground up
  • Get hands on‑ with tools used in modern tech development
  • Work with specialists on improvements, innovation, and future ‑focused projects

What you’ll need

  • 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
  • You must hold a Level 3 qualification (preferably in Business or STEM) or 3 A Levels
  • Like solving problems and working through challenges with others
  • Enjoy helping shape how things are designed and improved
  • Want to make a real impact on how our customers use our services
  • Are excited to learn, grow, and contribute new ideas
  • Want to work in a team that values creativity, development, and fresh perspectives
