Are you a university student with a disability* or a neurodiverse condition? Join us for an inclusive and empowering Insight Day designed to help you explore what a career at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) could look like – with a dedicated focus on our Internships and Graduate Programmes.
This event offers a supportive environment where you can learn about our impact in the Financial Services industry, meet the people who shape our inclusive culture, and build the confidence and skills to take your next step.
What will the insight day offer?
- Explore careers at the FCA and discover the breadth of internship and graduate pathways available across regulation, data, economics, finance, and more.
- Hear directly from FCA professionals, including early career colleagues, about their journeys and what it’s like to work here
- Learn how to positively position your disability and identify the skills and strengths you have developed from managing your disability
- Take part in an empowerment session designed to build confidence, self-advocacy, and how to access the support you require to perform at your best in the assessment and selection process
- Engage with FCA employee network Embrace, our disability and neurodiversity network, to learn about colleagues lived experiences and support available.
- Build practical recruitment skills through a dedicated session including an assessment centre exercise simulation
Who is this suitable for?
- 1st and 2nd years
- On track for a 2:1 (if known at this stage)
- Those exploring roles in finance, data, change management, economics
- Those with a declared or known disability or neurodiverse condition
* Disability includes, but is not limited to: visual and hearing impairments, mobility impairments, autism, diabetes, epilepsy, dyslexia, dyspraxia, mental health conditions, speech impairments and major illnesses such as cancer and MS.
