You’ll be based at the National College for Nuclear and Clean Energy in Somerset for the first two years. You'll then be based at your EDF location for year 3 which will be Huntly, AB55 4DT.

Travel may be required, giving you exposure to different wind farm sites and engineering teams across the UK.

What You’ll Experience

  • Learning the foundation principles of engineering
  • Developing practical hand skills and technical knowledge
  • Working on wind turbine maintenance and servicing
  • Gaining experience at EDF wind farm service centres
  • Support from experienced mentors and engineering teams
  • Joining our outward bound induction and Early Careers network

Who You Are

You’ll bring a passion for renewable energy, the ability to work independently and in a team, and a commitment to balancing study and work. A full UK driving licence is required by the end of your apprenticeship.

The Assessment Centre will be delivered either virtually or in person. Further details, including the date, will be confirmed in due course.

Alongside a starting salary of £16,912 per annum and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
