Project Management Summer Internship
Locations: Glasgow G2, Manchester M1, Milton Keynes MK9
Salary: £22,932 pro rata
Start date: June 2026

Entry Requirement
You’ll need to be in your penultimate year at university, and on track to achieve at least a 2:2 in any degree subject.
Our 10-week Project Management Summer Placement gives you the opportunity to work on meaningful projects across our business. You’ll develop your understanding of project management, build new skills, and gain exposure to our business functions.
What you’ll be doing
In this 10-week long summer placement, you’ll explore commercial, safety, and risk & opportunity management techniques, while gaining exposure to various functions, including Construction, Planning, Strategy, Operations and Estimating.
Contributing to high-profile projects, you’ll prepare presentations and reports, manage important contracts, and build relationships with stakeholders. You’ll gain basic engineering knowledge along the way. We’ll show you how to sharpen your interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate with people at all levels, and ensuring everything stays on track for success.
Who you are matters

We look for inquisitive self-starters with a strong work ethic and the confidence to challenge how things are done. You should have an eye for detail with the ability to approach problems with a calm approach. Other qualities we’re looking for include:
