When are the insight evenings?

We’re delighted to invite you to attend one of our virtual insight evenings, held throughout the year. Each event is scheduled ahead of our placement and training contract deadlines, giving you the chance to hear our top tips before submitting your application.

Each insight evening is tailored to highlight our current opportunities, including training contracts in England and Scotland, solicitor apprenticeships, and diversity initiatives such as our Discover Vacation Placement. You’re welcome to attend as many sessions as suit your interests best.

Events run from 17:45 to 19:15, making them easy to fit around your work or study commitments.

What is an insight evening?

An insight evening is a great way to get to know Shoosmiths and explore whether we’re the right fit for your future. These focused virtual sessions offer a behind-the-scenes look at our divisions, the clients we work with, and the exciting developments shaping our growth strategy.

What else do I need to know?

Our insight evenings run from 17:45 to 19:15, making them easy to fit around your existing commitments such as work or study. We’ve published the dates in advance so you can plan ahead and add them to your diary when you register.

While we encourage you to engage and make the most of the session, please note that these events are not assessed. They’re simply a great opportunity to learn more about Shoosmiths in a relaxed and informative setting.

How do I register?

To attend an insight evening, you’ll need to complete a short registration form and answer one brief question. The form is quick and easy and takes no more than five minutes to complete.

Please find the relevant registration link for each event in the table above. You’re welcome to attend as many insight evenings as suit your interests.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details you need to join the event.
