Chief People Organization, Summer 2026 Analyst Internship (Chester)

The team

The Chief People Organisation (CPO) operates as a strategic partner to each area of the bank, focused on making Bank of America a great place to work for all employees in numerous ways including a focus on recognizing and rewarding performance, providing development and growth opportunities, ensuring a workplace that is inclusive and provides opportunity for all and supporting employees with physical, emotional and financial wellness.

Programme Overview

Working in partnership, the CPO teams provide a comprehensive service to the business. The CPO functions include Talent Acquisition, Talent, Learning, Opportunity & Inclusion, Compensation & Benefits, Shared Services, Employee Relations, Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Security.During the 10-week summer internship programme you will have the opportunity to rotate through some of these functions and to work on interesting and varied projects.

Training and Development

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating on projects across CPO that contribute to our key people strategies and initiatives.
  • Supporting initiatives across the CPO team including for example in Benefits, Opportunity & Inclusion, Talent, Learning and Corporate Communications

Eligibility

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a completion time frame between September 2026 and July 2027. Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation. Please note that we reserve the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer.
  • Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • To be eligible to apply for this role in Chester, you must have the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be available to join the programme from June 2026 to August 2026.
  • Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals.
