If you’re finishing school and looking for an alternative to college or sixth form, our Advanced Apprenticeships are the perfect route. You’ll join National Grid as a paid apprentice, combining classroom learning with real-world experience, all while working toward a recognised Level 3 qualification.

What you’ll be doing

• Split your time between practical, on-the-job training and study.
• Work with skilled mentors on projects that keep energy flowing across the UK.
• Develop technical expertise in craftsperson and technician roles.

What you need

• At least 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English Language at grade 4 / C or above).
