Digital Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship - Netmatters

Netmatters is an established software, web design, IT support, telecommunications, and digital marketing agency based in the east of England.

Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our accomplished team here at Netmatters as we embark on many new projects and challenges.

Responsibilities:

The role will require you to learn about and manage different aspects of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, email, social, etc) for an ever-increasing portfolio of clients using our bespoke admin system. You will be required to become exceptional across a wide range of digital marketing disciplines and develop an eye for what works on the web.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to enter the industry to carve a long-lasting career in digital marketing. Once probation has been passed, we will create a clear progression route through our personal development plan process. Successful apprentices will progress to Junior Executives and will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, such as product specialists. Many of our senior members of staff started as juniors or apprentices.

Required skills:

  • Have a thirst to learn more about digital marketing channels.
  • A positive attitude to and eagerness to learn.
  • Be familiar with internet technology (search engines, social networks, admin systems, etc).
  • Have an analytical mind and be able to draw logical conclusions from data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of websites (design and function).
  • Be competent with the use of basic office software.

The following experience would be desirable:

  • Be familiar with search engine optimisation and pay-per-click.
  • SEO, PPC, editorial, marketing, advertising, website administration.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

40 hours per week, Monday – Friday - 6 hours per week of these will be dedicated to your apprenticeship studies.
