Overview:

As a member of the MSBD (Managed Services Build & Dispatch) team at DXC Technology, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware provisioning and support. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation and keen attention to detail. You will be responsible for managing hardware logistics, performing diagnostics, and utilising

Responsibilities:

  • You will be the first responder to efficiently action and update all service tickets within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation to meet SLA requirements.
  • Full ownership of the provisioning process for laptops, desktops, and tablets – from initial request to deployment. Coordinate with internal build teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery and communication throughout the hardware lifecycle.
  • Perform hands-on technical diagnostics including component replacement (RAM, chipsets, screens) and troubleshooting using USB-based access tools. Prepare devices for deployment using Microsoft Intune for user assignment and compliance configuration.
  • Monitor and maintain key operational databases using Microsoft Excel functions. Ensure accuracy in call logging, escalation tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Utilise TIMS and WMS systems to manage asset movement, order fulfilment, and warehouse stock accuracy. Produce and upload stock records from purchase orders, generate dispatch orders and maintain inventory integrity across systems.
  • Generate system-based picking lists and print labels for the warehouse team to support efficient packaging and dispatch operations.
  • Maintain and update account-specific escalation trackers and generate regular reports to identify trends, exceptions, and areas for improvement.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Salary:

£18,000 per annum.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
