
About Yorkshire Ambulance Service
Yorkshire Ambulance Service cover nearly 6,000 square miles of varied terrain, from isolated moors and dales to urban areas, coastline and inner cities. We serve a population of over five million people across Yorkshire and the Humber and strive to ensure that patients receive the right response to their care needs as quickly as possible, wherever they live.
Our vision is to provide and co-ordinate safe, effective, responsive and patient-centred out-of-hospital emergency, urgent and non-emergency care, so all our patients can have the best possible experience and outcomes. We work in line with our values of kindness, respect, teamwork and improvement.
We offer a range of apprenticeships in clinical and non-clinical areas. We deliver an in-house front-line career path, which enables staff to work through Level 3 and 4 ambulance apprenticeships and progress onto a Level 6 Paramedic apprenticeship. We also offer further career progression, such as Enhanced Clinical Practitioner apprenticeships.
In addition to this, we offer a apprenticeship opportunities in project management, business, leadership, technology, improvement and a range of other non-clinical areas.
