Process Engineer and analytics Review

I work in a multi talented group to de-risk production during medicine manufacturing. In this team we work across the business to collaborate and understand critical parameters when setting up Design optimization studies.

I was given enough responsibility in active projects to contribute as any other colleagues. I was able to directly influence the collective outcome of project by specializing on specific task. I was provided with opportunity to grow by exploring my interest in different aspects of the business. Mentors were also giving me opportunities to explore and assisted me to meet with senior leaders in helping me plan my career objectives. All in all, I had all rounded responsibility and growth opportunity.

Since this placement is my first exposure to office job, my communication skill is significantly improving daily. Communication is key to adapt and grow with adversity of work challenge, I continuously write report, present, and attend meetings to learn and inform my tasks to colleague. Furthermore, I managed to prove for myself that I am capable of doing tasks independently and my education has prepared me enough to contribute society. Lastly, I learnt working as a team is a great tool and people are willing to help you grow.

I had continued support from broad range of people. Primarily, my manager was the first contact who supervised me different aspect of the business and areas where I invest my energy. Colleagues in My team were the other immediate support during bumps in my job, they were great in guiding me to find solutions when I was not able to see it immediately. I also had mentor, learning tools and societies to guide on different aspects of the business.

GSK have great people who really care, I felt all the people I communicated with were sincere, honest and very knowledgeable in their respective field. Everyone is happy to help and assist on all aspects of the business, give you a great insight and have a tea with you too. Everyone I met were highly dedicated and caring for their job, you can see their purpose is clear and want to achieve it in collaboration.

I loved my placement, I felt valued and learnt that I should have purpose in my life. I understood having a seance of purpose will help me be a resilient persona and can push mountain with people around me. I start looking myself with more positive view and better confidence that I start the placement. I am also realistic on areas i great at and where i have to improve, I have a five year goal now.
