Customer Account Executive Review

I am responsible for the delivery of turnover, profitability and business building terms for my category in Costco. This includes developing and executing customer business plans on several market leading brands as well as compelling challenger brands. I am accountable for the day-to-day contact with the customer buyers, supply chain, shopper marketing, internal category & brand contacts. I also carry out elements of portfolio management, analysis, and administration internally.

You are given a lot responsibility during the placement, essentially a full time job. However they ensure you are supported throughout the process.

My stakeholder management skills have been something I've been able to improve on massively. I have also grown in confidence due to carrying out tricky negotiations etc.

There is a high level of support and guidance from your surrounding team as well as the careers team.
