Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I am responsible for a multi-million pound portfolio and manage relationships with at least 7 suppliers and many stakeholders within Centrica.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really friendly culture, where colleagues are approachable. Supportive teams that want to help you learn and achieve in your role.
The culture in terms of home working is very high, it is dependent on the team/role you are in but many choose to work online which can for new starts be slightly isolating.

What advice would you give to others applying to Centrica
Come prepared with basic knowledge of the company and it's values as those are regarded highly. It is a great place to work but as mentioned there is a high focus on flexible-first home working so may not be for those who prefer to be in the office and like in person contact.
