Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily tasks involve admin, project brainstorms, campaign meetings regarding how to enhance resource awareness on health and wellbeing. Interactions with external and internal providers/suppliers, internal team collaborations. Some projects involve running large scale on-site events and leading research projects.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was able to take ownership of specific projects that I was interested in.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learnt skills such as data tracking on excel, creating SharePoint websites. I have enhanced my team work, time management (due to various projects occurring at the same time) skills. Both written and verbal communication skills have increased.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

People at Unilever are always willing to help and share their experience/knowledge. We have had many opportunities where senior leaders have shared their stories.
