Formulation and Processing Technician Review

I worked hybrid both in the lab and in the office allowing me to work from home a few days a week. Day-to-day I would formulate skincare products and run them on analytically testing for data collection. I used this data to create correlations from past data collected. Yes, after being in the company a couple months and growing relationships with my team I was given multiple projects to lead within my placement allowing me to develop leadership skills.

Yes I have developed many skills. I have developed technical skills in the lab, while also getting to develop business skills including: communicating with people from different geography's, fast-thinking skills to ensure targets are met in a timely manner, and time-management/ priority skills understanding what I need to complete in my workload first.

I had weekly meetings with my manager for us to discuss my work load and any questions I had, however I could reach out to her whenever I needed I didn't have to wait for these calls.

My team was amazing at organising out of work socials. We had many a meals out and activities such as go karting, escape rooms and bowling.

I loved my placement and would relish the opportunity to come back as a graduate.
