Yes, I was given big responsibility in managing data subject requests for the whole UK region.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Yes, many. I have learnt how data subject requests are made and actioned, the rights of a data subject, using software to deal and manage with these requests, communication skills, interactions with other colleagues from different departments and many more.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Very, I absolutely enjoyed every part of my placement because there was always something new to look forward to. Yes, at times it could get repetitive but the fact there was so many opportunities available, more to learn about and due to it being a big company there are other departments which was appealing to know more about. I 100% enjoyed my placement and am glad to have done it.

Be yourself, and confidence. As long as you're confident and show some enthusiasm in your interview you should be fine. When applying for my placement, I was happy to see there were no assessments required.
