Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I send advance shipping notices to customers. Then plan their load for each day. Looking after Worcester Bosh's top couple of customers. Liaise with customers to meet their expectations/demands. Analyse flow of products and notify any delays
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I run reports that will be analysed by the whole logistics department. Been given responsibility to read out reports in meetings. Look after the biggest/most important customers

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Company culture is very good. Lots of opportunity/incentives to get involved in things in and outside of work. Lots of social activities outside of work for team bonding e.g. crazy golf, Christmas party. Opportunities to go on learning courses.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
It was not to do with my degree so I did not enjoy much of it. I was promised more engineering based roles in the interview. The job probably doesn't require an intern as there is not enough to do to fill up a whole day of work. There was not enough variation in the job role for gaining experience in an internship
