Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

In my role in Pre-Sales, I was part of diverse projects involving media creation for both existing and prospective customers. This entails producing captivating videos and designs, such as hype videos and screen presentations, to engage customers during their visits. Additionally, I worked in the studio to film interviews and assist in setting up livestreams. I have also contributed to internal projects by designing logos and graphics. Additionally, I have been involved in developing arcade games that showcase SAP solutions for exhibitions.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

During my placement, I was given significant responsibility, primarily focusing on customer-facing tasks aimed at attracting new clientele.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have acquired a diverse range of new skills throughout my placement. These include learning the fundamentals of 3D modelling and operating a 3D printer, gaining experience in a film studio and event photography, as well as becoming proficient in working with the website building tool Timesites. Additionally, I have significantly improved my Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. There were no strict dress code rules, and I had the option to work remotely. I appreciated how they supported people from all backgrounds through groups like the Business Women's Network and Pride at SAP.
