Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my time at SAP I was responsible for a weekly Partner Spotlight event. My job was to ensure a full schedule, drive attendance and open the sessions with a short intro to the Partner.
I regularly configured reports for the team, ensuring accuracy and correct Partner alignment.
I was responsible for key Alliance Business Analysis across industry and Line of Business functions. I also attended important meetings with Partners to align on key accounts.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Throughout my internship I have reinforced some previously recognised strengths as well as acknowledged new ones in my role. Strengths which I had not previously recognised include my confidence in public speaking, my leadership skills, and my analytical excel skills.
I have taken every opportunity to enhance my knowledge of SAP and develop the skills needed in the corporate world of work whilst also broadening my skill set in different areas of SAP software.

Weekly 1-1’s with my manager and my assigned ‘buddy’ who both helped support my throughout my time at SAP.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
My experience at SAP has been one I will never forget. I’ve had the most incredible year and had the chance to work with inspiring individuals both inside and outside my team. I can safely say I have had the best time growing the SAP and have develop strong foundations for my future career. The experience and knowledge I had gained has been second to none and the network I have built is invaluable.

What advice would you give to others applying to SAP
My advice would be take every opportunity to build your network and discuss your career aspirations with new people you meet.
Also, have fun! I frequently attended socials and other events hosted by interns in my cohort where I truly believe I have made some friends for life.
