Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Optimising the website to suit the audience better. Utilising the agile methodology and A/B testing principles to test and provide ideas before rolling them out across EMEA.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, as per words of my manager I was integrated into the team as a full member. I feel like I've worked on the same issues and to the same capacity as my peers.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my Agile skills, learned about A/B testing. Improved my communication and management skills as those were incredibly important to do the best. I've also learned about roadmapping and planning and the importance of that.

Incredible support, I could have asked to shadow any team I wanted to learn more about. And my boss and the director of my team was also greatly interested in my improvement and made conscious steps to improve my learning.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
At times I felt as part of a greater family. Even though this is not the approach my team has chosen, but regardless of the verbal nature of it I've felt as part of a collective and included. Feeling a sense of responsibility for the teams success
