Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a digital analyst I am in charge of supporting the Digital Strategy Group in EMEA, on different projects. From Industry Strategy to Strategic Consulting, I have to do research on the latest innovations and trends of industries, as well as working with clients to help them drive their digital transformations. This includes conducting interviews, research, analysis of their digital performance and CX among other tasks.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Indeed, I have presented my work to customers and leaders multiple times, as well as conducted analyses for companies by myself. I led my first solo DSG engagement with a client which was as well a successful experience.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Synthesising information has been a key skill I have developed. There is so much research and information that being clear and direct becomes sometimes difficult. Moreover, I have improved my critical thinking through the different challenges and solutions I have faced in customer projects.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I have learnt a lot from all my colleagues throughout my internship; some personal and others professional. Everyone is very generous with their time and its great to have so many people with great experience helping you to improve your performance and grow personally. Moreover, I found a mentor who has helped me in making career and work wise decisions, so It was a great experience having that support.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture at Adobe is really diverse and inclusive. There are people from all parts of the world and from different backgrounds which makes it an enriching experience. There is an atmosphere of improvement, and groups of communities you can join to be involved in events they organise.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Overall, It has been a greater experience than expected. Based on my personality and career I have fitted really well in the team, while driving value across all the projects I have worked in. The level of responsibility as well as the culture inside the team has made the experience more than special to me.

Have a clear and open mindset. Adobe is a company constantly transforming companies with our tech stack and creative capabilities. Its important to have ambition and eagerness to learn a lot! Its a really active company, a lot of things are happening constantly, so definitely so interest and hard work during your assessment center.
