Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The insight program included a well-packed schedule of panel discussions, introduction to the different teams at Lazard (e.g. the restructuring team, ECM, DCM, Financial Sponsors Group teams etc.). The insight program also provided us with a Buddy Analyst that allowed us to job-shadow them on Day 2 and get a feel of what Lazard is like. There was a group presentation to be completed by Day 3.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The Lazard Spring insight a very detailed overview of the their Financial Advisory business lines and the sessions were all very interactive which didn't make it feel like an information overload. It provided a concise overview and introduction to what kind of work Lazard does as well.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very welcoming and warm. General atmosphere was that they work hard and they are good at what they do but they still remain humble and always strive to improve and include everyone.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed the insight as it provided me with a good overview of the company culture and the line of business. The insight was also very well put together and everyone felt welcomed.
