Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

I took part in skills workshops run by industry experts and product teams, and spent one-on-one time with an Analyst, learning more about the work they do. I was also privy to a number of panels and presentations where I learned about life at Lazard.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

I learnt so much about what financial advisory actually entails, beyond the theoretical details available on the internet. What does a day-to-day actually look like? What kind of people does each sector/product team attract? These are the questions whose answers I was really looking forward to and I got a deep insight into those areas during the programme.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Extremely collegiate and friendly. There were so many opportunities given to meet everyone at Lazard, from analysts to the CEO of UK FA, all of whom were extremely open to sharing more about the work they do, took the time to be a friendly face.
