Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role is a combination of data analysis and project management. I analyze and follow trends in the business to understand what is happening and where we have gaps.
Turn these trends into action and work with the relevant teams across different countries and regions to build a user experience and test it against the baseline.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given loads of responsibility! I don't feel like I am treated any differently due to being an intern, I am given as much respect as any other employee. I have a business area that I drive and know about. I feel trusted within my team and have clear responsibilities to manage.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learned so much at Adobe! I think the main skills I have developed are data analysis, presentation skills, building business cases, and managing workload.
I am given the opportunity to present my work constantly to people at all different business levels. This has allowed me to become a lot more concise and confident at responding to questions in a live setting.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A good amount. My manager is helpful and I have several lines of support if needed. There are plenty of resources that can be used when I need help.
There was a steep learning curve over the first few months, Adobe is a complicated business that takes a while to learn which can be frustrating at times but I feel like I was supported throughout this process.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Adobe has a good culture. Working hybrid can create a sense of detachment sometimes but the London office has a good energy, especially on Thursdays.
In my team, we have quarterly team days which are in person, so everyone has a chance to get together and see each other.
