Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Linklaters is a fun and vibrant place to work at. The work is bespoke and extremely complex, but enjoyable because you are working on global deals that impact everyday life.
On a day-to-day basis we had workshops with Partners from Linklaters core practice groups e.g., Banking, Corporate, Finance and Dispute Resolution. Furthermore, we would sometimes have social events, such as a Partner Dinner at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, which was a great opportunity to network with renounced lawyers.
I also had the opportunity to get involved with market-leading client work ranging from Nuclear Plants and Carbon Capture.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting because there are many opportunities for career development. At Linklaters the work is never the same.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Linklaters is a people firm. The Senior Partner and Managing Partner are both outgoing, respectful and confident individuals, which represents the culture of the firm. During the Vacation Scheme, I introduced myself to partners in elevators and it was always well-received.
