Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Two week long insight into fisher german’s operations. Activities included sector specific talks, graduate chats, skills sessions, and individual and team based projects/tasks.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very useful to learn about all the different sectors that FG operates across...I didn’t realise that they cover pretty much everything related to property in the U.K.!

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Real estate related skills such as planning, development, agency and more. The personal and group tasks were naturally heavily focussed around researching market conditions, regulations, zoning etc. and we learned how to use online tools to find the info that we needed.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very warm, friendly and welcoming. Everyone was very approachable and was very keen to make sure that we were learning a lot and were enjoying the sessions. They also didn’t expect us to know everything and were very accommodating in terms of task deadlines as they knew we had university commitments.

Make sure to demonstrate a keen interest in real estate. Also FG has a strong rural focus, which is something to consider and should be researched
