Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Partners introduced us to recent corporate and disputes case studies. Participated in a corporate negotiations workshop where I worked on the seller’s side. Attended a practice area fair a trainee Q&A panel. I shadowed a corporate trainee and reviewed a IP Pro Bono contract. Had an applications advice session where the Graduate Recruitment Team gave us a better insight into the vacation scheme application process and advice.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The recent corporate and disputes case studies, trainee Q&A panel and practice area fairs were all very useful to gains better insight into the potential roles available at HSF.

I have developed better legal analysis skills especially from reviewing the legal contract and presenting my findings to a senior associate actually on the case.

Company Culture

How would you rate business leader involvement during the insight

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was very collegiate and supportive. I particularly experienced this whilst shadowing my trainee and her colleagues. The general atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming.
