Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Vacation Scheme students sit across two practice areas for the duration of the scheme. The day-to-day comprised a mix of legal work and social/networking events. The legal work for me personally involved mostly legal research and making research notes. Each intern is provided with supervisors and training buddies so that they have adequate support and mentorship during the internship. In addition to this one can always book coffee chats with people in the same/different practice areas for additional networking opprtunities.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The programme is structured in a way that the interns are given multiple sessions and networking opportunities to understand the business, what their role will be in the business, and how the firm invests in their growth.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is very warm and welcoming. They also place emphasis on having a diverse workforce, which they have been able to realise in practice with a significant degree of success. The mentorship provided is also very hands-on.
