Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My day-to-day features a very broad variety of tasks. This includes invoices, slide decks, facilitating and summarising meetings. I'm also often in meetings with suppliers discussing actions.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes and no. I could provide input and felt valued in my team, however in terms of anything important externally I obviously had little input.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

My inter-personal skills have massively grown during my time on placement. I feel a lot more confident in engaging with others in a professional environment. My time management has definitely improved as I learn to prioritise critical tasks to ensure I can meet and exceed the expectations set out for me.

The company culture is very good and friendly. There's definitely an emphasis on employees health and wellbeing.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my placement as a whole. I feel like a lot of my work wasn't very tangible, hence I didn't feel as fulfilled as others with different roles in the organisation.
