Yes - my manager left the company due to external opportunities, and I have therefore have had to step in her shoes temporarily until a new manager comes in place. This has enabled me to take on greater responsibility, liaise more closely with senior stakeholders, provide more input, and make tougher/important decisions.

A lot of managers were very focused on my personal and corporate development. A lot of opportunities, resources, projects, and tasks were presented to me to help improve my skills.

Good culture of continuous improvement, and being accountable for impact. This had a lot of people being very supportive and willing to support others. However there is some tensions between some colleagues and stakeholders.

I loved my placement. Would love to come back to the company. Had a great manager, interesting projects and tasks to work on. Received a lot of support and encouragement from other colleagues.
