Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day 1:
Introduction to Fieldfisher, Trainee Q&A session, Department Road Show, Introduction to their Just Purpose scheme and their efforts regarding Inclusion & Diversity.
Day 2: Shadowed a newly qualified solicitor for the day in a sector of our choice. This was great to experience the day to day life of a solicitor and meet so many more employees who shared their insights. The day finished with an employability workshop.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great to gain an insight as is something you can't really fully understand without experiencing it yourself. We were thoroughly involved in the solicitors tasks of the day in day 2 which was a great experience. They made a particular effort in day 1 to expose us to all parts of the business and different sectors they operate in, with the chance to chat to trainees and solicitors from most of the sectors.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I certainly learnt skills regarding how to hold oneself in a work environment. It also was great to hear more about how to make yourself employable and the skills they look for in an interview. Most importantly, it was great to gain insight into what a career in law is like, alongside getting an understanding of the culture at Fieldfisher.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and general atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was so happy to share their thoughts and insights and I felt very comfortable asking any questions I had. You could tell it would be a really nice environment to work in
