Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Before the event, all information was provided via email and there was an introductory zoom call.
The first day consisted of several interactive presentations about the firm, a trainee Q&A panel and an optional social activity.
On the second day, each attendee was each paired with a trainee and sat in a department to work shadow. The programme closed with an application workshop.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I better understand the range of opportunities available to me within a legal career. Furthermore, I now know how law firms greatly differ and which types are more suited to myself.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The firm was very friendly. All of the employees appeared to have strong working and personal relationships. Moreover, senior individuals were extremely willing to spare time to interact and answer any questions.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was the most impressionable experience that I have had at a law firm thus far. In addition to being highly informative, it was also very fun. There was a great balance between information, breaks and social activities. The firm was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed it mostly because I was made to feel very comfortable.

Do not worry about having a lack of legal experiences as the firm understands the position that students are in at this stage. Furthermore, do not hesitate to emphasise your extracurricular activities, hobbies and interests.
