Insight programme student/Urban Designer Review

Throughout the Insight I was given the opportunity to participate observe and be assigned a variety of different Urban Design related tasks which involved me to develop my own creativity given free reign to get tasks done. Both virtual and in person meetings cemented my understanding of different aspects within the Savills business where each detail of how each sector of the topic was explained clearly. I was also provided with useful feedback on my own personal work and was able to ask questions which were all answered thoughtfully.

Insightful and useful personally to help decide on the future of my career and what type of profession I would like to get into.

I have learnt about the processes of Urban Design and a large majority of the aspects that go into each and every project as well as given an understanding of the how the graduate programmes work and how the to display your ideas and use story telling to convey your ideas and designs.

Inspiring, welcoming, friendly, comfortable, relaxed, modern and visually appealing, overall a very nice place to work.

I thoroughly enjoyed gaining an insight into the world of work as a whole and what goes into a usual week of work, I have also learned that no day at the office is the same and that the work is always changing.
