Insight student Review

Each day of my insight program was full of varied different jobs. Mainly focusing with the development team looking at comparables of a residential property one day, and building a sales brochure for a residential development opportunity in surrounding areas. I also had many talks with different members from other departments and online zoom calls with the rest of the student in the insight program

Amazing! I have become more knowledgeable on so many different aspects I had never really thought about before from talking to many different members from different departments and different educational backgrounds. Having a particular focus on the grad scheme and placement year this has really helped my focus for my next educational goals.

This program has developed my real estate knowledge on the property market and what processes are taken for different steps of valuation, development and planning.
I have learnt new aspects of consideration such as the EPC register and flood risks that are both needed within a valuation report.
I have also learnt how comparables are found for properties and projects and what makes a good or bad comparable. alongside looking at a valuation report an sales brochure.

The atmosphere is a great place to work with a fabulous office space. The team really go above and beyond to be insightful, helpful and friendly answering any questions I threw at them with knowledgeable responses and actually interesting comments that have widen my own perspective and opinions.

It was an amazing opportunity and I have gained skills that will help me with the rest of my degree and hopefully future employments. The team were all very friendly and the networking opportunity was endless which I hope to keep these contacts into the future.
