Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the insight, I was able to achieve an array of outcomes, from viewing retail, offices, logistics and more, to calling up competitors for comparable valuation reports.
I have used industry specific technology, such as Costar and Athena to succeed in my tasks provided by my mentor. In addition to this, networking with professionals from a variety of backgrounds within real estate, e.g., development, valuations, consultants, has been amazing as my knowledge has significantly developed!

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It's been great, the insight really did meet what the name of the programme says. Being in the Nottingham office was great as it was more one to one. Therefore, my mentor and I could work individually, and this allowed me to ask as many questions as needed, whilst getting on with my tasks. I understand a lot about the business and the potential career pathways through Savills and the RICS.

I have further developed all of my interpersonal skills, including communication and organisational behaviour.
A few new skills that I have picked up on include using professional technology, as well as a few new maths equations for real estate specifics.
