Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A two-day insight programme which delved into AlphaSights as a company, their function and what makes them stand out from competitors both for clients and employees. Heard from current associates, managers and VPs. We toured the London office and the rooftop terrace and got to network with so many people. Lots of Q&A sessions and a group assessment followed by a one-to-one interview on the second day.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Exciting, very informative and heard honestly about what the job entails from the associates, managers and VPs.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very fast-paced, working towards sales goals, so slightly competitive too. Inclusive and very international in terms of how many languages were spoken by each colleague.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Really enjoyed the insight because it gave me a real-life idea of what the job would entail. The insight developed my networking and sales skills too through scenarios in both the group assessment and interview.

Understand what the role entails in terms of cold-calling and emailing, etc.
Do some preparation including company research from their website (case studies, values, BREAD process) and be open to learn. Also ask challenging questions on the insight days so that you can get a better idea of the job and understand what AlphaSights does.
