Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A two-day insight programme for the AlphaSights client service team in London. This involved a round table discussion with associates and VPs about the importance of a value chain and tailored engagement with clients. This also included interactive workshops and general skills sessions for interviews and sales. Alongside students from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Portugal we collaborated to complete a group assessment. On the second day a one-one interview was completed. A fantastic learning experience, developing understanding of commercial awareness, professional communication and the importance of adaptability.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We had the opportunity to speak to employees at an associate level up to vice president. This was great to understand the fast rate of progression opportunities at AlphaSights and experiences from different perspectives.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight days, It was brilliantly run and set up. We could get involved in client projects with the opportunity to discuss a brief with others from the insight day. Also asking questions was greatly encouraged, which was useful to gain the most out of the experience.
