Client Service Associate Review

I connect industry professionals to clients that have specific knowledge gaps.
This typically means searching for specific experts using external tools such as LinkedIn and Google (as well as some more creative methods) to find suitable advisors for a specific project.
Our role is to connect with these industry experts which includes explaining who we are, discussing the project, negotiating a rate, and finally onboarding them.

Yes, a placement student has similar responsibilities to someone in a grad role. The slight nuances come from a slightly lower expectation due to time spent on other placement tasks but other than that there is still lots of responsibility given.

Started with a week of classroom training, followed by an eased introduction to the role.
Received continuous support from a range of sources including trainers, managers, mentors, and even VPs or one-off talks with higher senior executives.
Throughout the tenure, we also received other training sessions.

Culture: You are expected to pull your weight and out the work which is important in this role, although there is the option to destress at the end of the day in the kitchen where many people will stay for a drink!
General Atmosphere: Young workforce so energetic in that sense. Sometimes a sense of pressure if you are not achieving. This does not apply to the same extent as the grad role though.

Have very much enjoyed it so far (6 months in when writing this). Have been lucky enough to have been placed with a handful of other placement students who all get along very well.
The teams that I have been in have been great and will likely stay good friends with many.
The work can be a little repetitive and at busy times long days but it is still, for the most part, quite enjoyable.
